Comprehensive Benefits

Medical & Additional Insurance Coverage

Coverage is available to eligible employees on the first of the month after 60 completed days of work. Employees can choose between a PPO or high deductible plan that best meets their personal needs. Dental and vision insurance is also available.

Employees will also receive employer provided life insurance and the ability to purchase additional life insurance for themselves, spouses and/or children. As well as the ability to enroll in short-term and long-term disability.

Retirement Planning

Employees over the age of 21 and that have completed their 60 days of employment are eligible to participate in our 401(k) Plan. HMC contributes a 50% match of employee contributions up to 4.5%.

On Site Childcare

At Miss Mona’s Childcare Center “Children First!” is our philosophy. We provide full-time and part-time care to those aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Miss Mona’s Daycare is licensed through the Illinois Department of Child and Family Services and participates in the DHS Subsidy program. Active employees receive a 30% discount off public rates.

Advancing Education

Health & Wellness

The Hopedale Wellness Center is located on the HMC campus. This 34,000 square foot facility has two pools, a basketball court, weight center, group fitness classes and child programming. A complimentary membership is given to each employee, and a discounted rate is provided to family members.

Paid Time Off

HMC offers generous amounts of paid time off based on the length of employment. In addition, employees may donate up to 40 hours of PTO to any one employee each year. Employees accrue at a rate based off of their length of employment. HMC offers multiple types of paid leave: Paid Time Off (PTO), Earned Time Off (ETO), Protected Paid Time Off (PPTO), jury duty and bereavement leave. Additionally, PTO can be cashed out yearly.
