Shaun Denniston Named November Athlete of the Month
Hopedale, IL – Hopedale Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine in collaboration with Hopedale Medical Complex is pleased to announce Shaun Denniston from Dee-Mack High School as our November Athlete of the Month. Shaun is a four-sport senior athlete. He most recently completed his football season with a season high of 268 rushing yards in Dee-Mack’s 2nd round playoff game. Shaun carries a 3.9 GPA and is a member of National Honor Society and Student Council.
In conjunction with Hopedale Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine, the outreach partner school districts athletic directors and “in season” coaches nominate students from their district for this distinguished award. The individuals that are chosen must not only excel as athletes, but also must be fully rounded in their approach to scholarship, leadership, character, and community service.
For being awarded the November Athlete of the Month, Shaun, will have the opportunity to be named the Athlete of the Year in May, and be awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Hopedale Medical Foundation to further his education. Hopedale Medical Complex and Hopedale Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine are pleased to continue this tradition with Dee-Mack, Delavan, Hartsburg-Emden, and Tremont school districts during their 2025/2026 Sports Seasons.
